Newark Transfer to New Brunswick SEBS-QUESTIONS!!

Hey everyone, i'm going to be attending Rutgers Newark this fall, and i'd like to transfer to Rutgers New Brunswick SEBS.

They have my major over there, anyways i talked to someone at the admissions office at Brunswick and she said that i can apply during my first semester to transfer over to new Brunswick for the 2nd semester.

Now i was reading the rules
SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES
she explained it to me over the phone reading from that.

my question is is this possible? im not sure if she was correct or not but can i really apply during my first semester to NB? has anyone done this?

Thanks, hope to get some reply's!!!!

According to the link you posted, they say you must complete 12 credits. That’s one semester worth of credits, so yes! It is quite possible. Just perform well in your 4-5 classes that you take at Newark, and you should be able to get into SEBS. Try and aim for a 3.6 or higher.

You’ll probably hear if you are accepted at the end of December or beginning of January when they receive your grades from Newark.

Good luck! =)

Thank you!!! i cant wait.

does anyone know if anyone has done this in the 1st semester?

Bump!!! anyone???

My daughter transferred from Univ of Delaware after her first semester to SEBS.
She knew within a month that UD wasn’t right for her. Rutgers welcomed here right away and she was accepted 2 weeks after applying in the fall. Not sure if they are as accomodating to existing Rutgers students. Don’t forget if you have any AP credits they count towards the 12 credits. My D would have made Rutgers if she applied outright. Were your scores good enough to get in outright??? IF not, they will be looking carefully at your grades. Good Luck.
