Hi, I'm new here and I always had these questions in my head that I hope you can help me in. I am hoping to apply for UCSD, UCLA, and UCD in california.

Exactly when do we apply for colleges? End of junior? Beginning of senior?

what grades don't they see when you apply? Cause I heard they don't see the second half senior year or middle school. Is this true?

I'm about to be a junior and I missed key club the first two years. Should I still join it and write it in my application? Cause I heard how some don't like to have kids where they don't commit to a certain club.

Oh and very weird question:
My high school is in a block schedule. Basically half a year of a class is equivalent to a full year in a normal high school. That way I have technically 8 times to apply for CSF. Would I seriously say 8 years or just the simple 4 years? How about if I do it for 3 and a half years? Would I say 3 1/2 or 7?

One more question I just thought up:
Are UC's real serious about your senior classes? Cause out of 8 classes Im only planning on taking AP English and AP Calculus for my educational classes while rest is elective types.
