<p>My son transferred in as a junior this year. I can’t quite remember when he could sign up for classes, but know an email or notice was sent ahead of time as to the date. He is also a double major, but had absolutely no problem in getting classes he wanted/needed. As UNC required different gen ed courses than his previous school, he did pick up things like anthro and drama the first semester to meet those perspectives.</p>

<p>Yes, he went over to visit and did meet with an advisor (again this info came sometime after acceptance) however, I remember that phone “meetings” were also offered.</p>
