Seriously? You got in?

Yep, dead serious. Worked hard on my essay, had a lovely upward trend, my interview was excellent, and those three clubs I excelled in rather than spreading myself out thin. I made sure I only posted the “worst” of all my stats and left out key information. You know give others hope.

I’ll be more than happy to post proof come Monday with a time/date stamp if you seriously think I am joking. Sadly UVA isn’t my first choice, Georgetown is. I had more discussions with people from Georgetown and have pretty good connections so wish me the best and hopefully my UVA spot will go to someone on the waitlist who really wants to attend. (Though if I do end up deciding to attend I will give UVA my all, like if it was my first choice)

Nice!!!, I love being an underdog at my school, yet getting into a better college than the majority of the kids with better GPA/SAT than me that bragged about their Stats all throughout highschool.

I hope you get into gerogetown. As 50 cent once said, " hate it or love the underdog on top and i’m gon shine until my heart stops."

DarrylMR, you mentioned having a good interview? I thought UVA didn’t offer interviews?

Well it was more of an unofficial interview from an alumni who wrote to the admission board. I honestly have no idea if it actually played a factor in me getting accepted or not. I don’t even know if it was looked at.

Good luck. I can’t imagine it will be easy for you.
