Newly Admitted UCLA Provisional Award Letter

I attempted to view my provisional award letter and it states that they have not generated an ePal for me at this time.

Just out of curiosity, am I the only one unable to view the provisional award letter or have any of you been able to see your estimated amount of awards?

Can’t see mine either.

I can see mine for UCLA, but I’m having this problem for Berkeley. :?

eviity will you be attending ucla or berkeley (haas)?

Its reassuring to know I am not the only one. I have received provisional awards from Cal, UCI and UCSD just waiting to see UCLA’s.

I’m still missing letters from UCI and Cal  ugh I really just want to SIR to Cal but I want some idea of what they’re giving me. So far UCLA is giving me the most. It’s almost irresistible.

I would really like to SIR to UCLA but I have not received a letter either. I know how you feel.

UCLA is giving tons __ I’m surprised by their generosity this year. Hope it updates soon for you guys!

I am also not able to see my provisional award letter. :\ I think I’ll give it a couple days before contacting them.

@appleslices Yeah UCLA went all out! I feel like Cal won’t even give me close to what UCLA is offering…

Zomgrad, Berkeley is giving me 22.3k out of 33k estimated total cost but 3k in work study. UCLA is giving me 21.3k out of 32k estimated total cost and around 2k from work study. UCLA net cost is 9k while Berkeley net cost is 9.5k. Both of them are generous to me. UCLA has been my dream but Berkeley is well Berkeley. They are making it hard for me.

@Waterox Well that’s good to hear that they seem to be on similar footing. I agree though that it’s such a hard choice.

I really wish I could see my estimates for Berkeley right now. :frowning: I’m freaking out!

Is anyone’s ePAL still unavailable? I still can’t see mine. :\ I sent UCLA’s Financial Aid Office an email. I’ll post what they reply if it helps anyone else.

For me, I was selected to submit extra verification forms as well as my parents tax forms. They have received all my information and I should now be receiving an ePal this week they said. Make sure they did not choose you to fill out extra verification forms, apparently they have certain students fill out extra forms before you can retrieve an ePal which was my issue. Go into URSA and check “Financial Aid Document Tracking” If they need more information from you thats where it will be listed.

^ Thanks for the info! I was actually waiting for the ePAL to show before I SIRed to UCLA. The Financial Aid Document Tracking doesn’t work for students who haven’t SIRed yet so I guess I’ll SIR tonight and send out my verification forms tomorrow. Thanks again! :)

On the ePal information page, did you guys scroll all the way down? At the bottom it should have the link to “View My Award”.

I haven’t sent in my SIR yet, but I can access all these information on my admission letter.
