News from an inside source

I've conversed with a woman working in the Admissions Office and she's informed me that ED1 decisions have been made and finalized! Your decisions will be mailed (and not e-mailed) next week (probably by 12/11/07)! Expect it very soon! Best of luck!

well i guess while you're conversing with admissions personnel, you might just mention me, how cool am, how intelligent my posts seem, how much i could add to the wesleyan community, and in general the amazing impact i've had simply through this forum... and you know, just tell them to look out and leave space for the mind blowing transfer applications they may be receiving...

So i guess I will be spending a lot of time by the mailbox waiting for Mr. Postman. haha.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

AHHHH.

Thank you!

I heard today from another source that they go out on Tuesday and we get them Thursday. I DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE IT IS!

That's what I said above. Your decisions will be mailed on 12/11/07. You'll probably receive them this week if you live in the eastern US. It all depends on where you live. Anyways, good luck, everyone! I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Slightly off topic here - but are there particular things that sealed the deal and made those that applied ED decide to go that route? Thank you for your responses.

no letter today! tomorrow?

I remember how scary it was waiting for my ED letter to come. Eek. Oh, college admissions. I'm glad it's over!

Good luck, guys!

(PS. Mine arrived exactly on the 15th :) I live in New Jersey, though, so pretty close to Connecticut.)

I got mine in the mail yesterday (though I didn't actually get it 'til today) - deferred :(. I think I'm going to switch to RD rather than EDII. I feel very confused at the moment.

Son received a deferral as well, said his app would be considered in EDII - it's a blow but this is part of life.

I'm sorry, guys :(

It's okay -- it's not a rejection :). that's how I'm trying to look at it, at least!
