hi guys!

i''m doing this article on halloween movies for my school newspaper.

therefore, i'm gonna need some suggestions:
WHAT ARE YOUR TOP 5 SCARY MOVIES FOR HALLOWEEN AND WWWHHHHYY?

i need help guys, peeps...

c'mon this is an easy question. i guess nobody here likes scary movies?

Disturbia !!!

I almost always hate scary movies, but this one was awesome! =]

Halloween I, II, III, IV, and V.

Scary Movie 4. That was just absolutely horrifying.

The Shining
Halloween
Exorcist
Dawn of the Dead
Evil Dead

It's not a true Halloween movie, but you may want to research Donnie Darko. It's a popular teen film about time travel, a man in a scary bunny suit named Frank, and a hot guy named Donnie, the protagonist. He gives his life to save the world from evil. It's not super scary, but quite freaky.

That movie made no sense to me. Like, none.

LOL i saw disturbia when i was on a plane for 16 hours. had to watch the movie over and over and over and over again b/c they only offered like fifteen channels and the stuff that they played were repetitive every three hours or so. but i liked it too!

ps. no one is answer the "why" question... >_< i have no idea what i'm gonna write.
definitely the halloween sequels, i thought exorcist was okay, not scary enough. i actually liked "the ring" a lot, it scared the living crap outta me for a second there in this one bonus scene. see this is the advantage of buying a DVD, u get the extra stuff

I saw The Ring in 8th grade. I cried and had nightmares for weeks.

I know... I'm pathetic. =[

Scariest movie ever: Silence of the Lambs. Definitely on my Halloween list!

The sequels aren't as scary, but they're twice as gruesome.

psycho for the history

The Birds

fo sho!!!

Silence of the Lambs
The Shining
Misery
28 Days Later
Sleepy Hollow

Some of these aren't the scariest movies ever, but they are my favorite horror/suspense ones.

Disturbia is super good.
but its not that scary, its really suspensful tward the end.
but its one of my favorite movies ever.

Silence of the Lambs. The Shining. The freaky one with Kathy Bates.

Psycho, ftw

hey snoopy, can u gimme a blurb on the Shining? i'm using this movie in my article and i have not seen it. however from what i've heard, it's really good one, i saw a couple of pictures and they look kinda freaky to me.

btw, i'm also using:

sixth senset
halloween
the exorcist

any of you guys have anything to say about these "master pieces"? something that i could add while writing the article?
lol. i love WATCHING movies. but i tend to forget them after a while.
i have a bad memory. getting old at my young age. haha :)

disturbia is almost clone of a movie called Fright Night..wonder what influenced the director?

SKELETON KEY is a really good scary movie, i would also recommend you to put THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE, the OMEN and classical hit THE EXORCIST!!
