If i can't get access to cliffs for AP bio
what should I get?
i live overseas so i'm pretty limited.
should I get barrons or PR?

If you’re self studying, get Barrons

I used PR to review in conjunction with Cliffs. I recommend it

I will be taking a class. I heard Barrons overpreps, but still good?

Barrons has the reputation of over-preparing students. This can be beneficial, but in the case of AP Bio, I think it might hurt more than help. You really don’t need to learn any more information than necessary to score well on the test, especially in an information heavy class like AP Bio. That’s why a lot of people love Cliffs, it just has what you need to know for the test. Nothing more, nothing less.

Barron’s is amazing. Yes it overpreps, but I used it along with the class and got a 5. In my class we only got up to Plants, no animals, anatomy, ecology, or anything. Barron’s filled in those gaps really well.

thank you.
what about Princeton Review?
