"Next Generation" of College Confidential Here Already? (FALL 2010 Transfers)

I’ve taken sport classes before. And for the summer session, I would suggest being prepared. I have taken boxing over the winter session and we worked out the first day. I’m taking surfing this summer and our instructor told us to be ready the first day. hope that helps!

Congrats to Kobe on his 3rd legitimate championship.

Congratulations to my imaginary boyfriend Pau Gasol!

Anyone else in L.A. planning to go to the parade? I think I may spend the night at the Coliseum.

Can I just say that I’m glad to have moved out of LA after hearing about the riots and crazies that were all over LA last night? Yeah. Yes.

lmao

I did a drive-by around Staples Center after the game and it was INSANE but also SO MUCH FUN. The only places that went crazy were isolated incidents in Downtown and East L.A. Any other place in Los Angeles was absolutely dead. Believe me, I tried The Valley and The Valley disappointed.

Downtown was a madhouse. I am not sure what streets you were on. Some guy driving next to me was passing out coronas and people were damaging stop signs and bus signs.
bumpin nwa’s **** tha police right in front of the cops ftw
It’s gonna be crazy on Wednesday , can’t wait.

If you were shook by that, man wait til you get to find out the real LA.
LA is the best.
I rather die than move out to San Diego.

Figueroa, Olympic, I want to say 4th(?), and a couple of other streets. I literally did one circle around L.A. Live then got on the 110 and it took forever to do that. I got there right after the game so I guess the riots hadn’t started yet. Boo. But at least I nearly broke my car horn. Wednesday is going to be so much fun.

I was in the Bay (still am) when they won.

:(

Question:
If I want to sign TAG’s for UCSB and UCSD, what would be the steps necessary to do so?

^ I think this TAG Matrix is what you’re looking for
<a href=“Understanding UC transfer | UC Admissions”>Understanding UC transfer | UC Admissions;

SB and SD are paperless - just indicate TAG and IGETC on application and make sure you meet all the reqs

For all the reqs, go to Assist.org and instead of picking a major pick the first option which notes the TAG reqs

If someone gets offered admissions with honors (it seems like a few people got accepted a few months ago from UCSB with Honors) what benefits coming along with that?

anyone know?

I haven’t been on in a while!! hii. (:

I got my registration date for Fall 09…June 30th!!! Yes! (that’s the first day registration starts)

just wanted to check in…(:

Yo Yunie! (10 chaaaaaaarrrrrr [extended letters defeat the purpose of “10 Char”]) :D

FINALLY got my grades back.
T/TH 9:30AM-9:45 is killer.

5 A’s! Mwahahaha.
% of classes attended: 60%

I’m waffling whether to do 8 units now this summer, or even summer school at all since I wanted to use it to boost my GPA. I have a 3.62 as of now. Anthro + TAP.

If I was you…I would add some summer classes…It keeps the brain fresh.

My grades haven’t come out yet. Ahh, anxiety much!

And Erikuh, you’re guaranteed into UCLA no doubt. Haha.

4 A’s!

…now on to summer.

Hey! I’m planning to transfer to UC after my Freshman year of college. (I’m a non resident and will transfer as a lower division). Only problem is that I didn’t take my SAT Subject Tests during HS.

Will UC allow me to take my SAT Subject Tests during my Freshman year in college? My GPA is good, and my SAT Reasoning is pretty good. Btw…when should I apply to transfer?

Erikuh and Martin: So grades WONT be up til all the profs post theirs? Wow…my Eng2 prof is going to take forever to post his…meaning I wont be able to see any of my gradesssssss

I’m pretty sure that’s how it goes. Yeah, it sucks because I know some teachers take a LONG time to compute grades. :/
