I’m taking a macroecon class with my bf so it should be interesting. We’re slightly competitive and already getting cocky over who’s going to get the higher grade. Ha.</p>

<p>Doesn’t sound like it will be that bad as your not one of those couples that slacks off and just flirts the whole class. lol I’ve seen it.
I’ve never taken a class with my gf as she goes to SF State, but we’ve taken a lot of the same classes at the same time so we were a bit competitive since we were studying the same material at the same time.</p>

<p>I can’t believe I’ll be applying to UCD and UCLA this fall. After not taking school seriously for about 4 years after I graduated and finally cracking down last fall, I’ve come a long way.
I’m gonna start working on my essay soon.</p>

<p>I start school today, but I’m just bummed it’s English.</p>

<p>I have like 15-20 W’s and 1 F when I was ****ing up in school (Fall 04-Spring 08) and then in Fall I started taking things more seriously and have a 3.75 at my current school.</p>

<p>Question: Will they look at my GPA from my current school or determine a cumulative one from the other community college I went to where I did horrible?</p>

Did you retake the class you failed and get an A?
I would also look into academic renewal if it’s available to you.
If I were you, I would address your academic growth in your application. </p>

<p>I’m surprised I actually have a decent chance at Cal and UCLA that I didn’t have applying 2 years ago. Makes all the downfalls of CC worth it IMO.</p>
