Hey CC,

So I am interested in applying as a transfer student. But I'm not sure when! Help me out ):

STATS:
HS GPA: 3.3
Brown University Transcript (taken during HS, junior year): one C
Community College Transcript (taken during HS): 3.9
Current College GPA (undergrad): 4.0 (with over 60+ credits. lots of APs and also taking summer classes now)
I will be a sophomore next year.
EC's: entrepreneurship, national business awards and distinctions, National officer positions, rowing team

I would love to apply to the following schools next year
Emory
JHU- Carey Business School
Cornell
Northwestern
Brown
Penn
UChicago
Yale

I am majoring in economics/business with psychology/neuroscience. My interest is in behavioral economics and neuromanagement. I am also interested in competing D1 for rowing. Emory, Cornell, and Northwestern all allow semester transfers, but I would really like a shot at Brown and Penn.

I feel that I have improved my GPA dramatically and that my work ethic has changed. But I think that may not be enough. What do you all think? Do I even have a shot at Brown and Penn, or should I just apply as a semester transfer?

(P.S. I was already accepted into Emory this year, but I realized that though Emory was a good fit and a great school, I really wanted to try again for my dreams)
