Next step after an appeal?

Just wanted to know, since it wouldn't hurt to ask if theres anything else you can do if an appeal is rejected. It was to UCLA and everything I listed was new and compelling evidence, to which even an admissions councillor was shocked it didn't go through.

There’s nothing you can do. Apply next year or go to another school you were accepted to. Sorry it didn’t work out. I got rejected by my #1 choice so I feel your pain.

It’s the end of the line, baby!

Activate plan B.

Did you SIR another school?

No it’s not…go to UCLA admission website and email people if you have new evidence and they didn’t check!
Same thing happened to me for UCSD…I emailed a few person, some said I should apply next year, some didn’t answer!! But one lady answered back, and now they’re looking at my application again.

@calbro‌ I got into UCI

And yeah idk I guess thats it then.

@only1withpower‌ I was in your shoes 2 years ago, the best advice I can give is pray… It worked for me.

ps. by any chance, were you a CCCP scholar?

Been praying @dagoberto and no I wasn’t a cccp scholar, I think I’m going to try emailing the dean or director. I feel like I want to mention that I might have not academically been the perfect student at first but the fact that I really want to attend means that even if I stayed at a cc for another year and got straight As my GPa wouldn’t even go up so it’s now or never for undergrad

Yes, that’s a good idea. Actually do something instead of praying.

Frankly @only1withpower‌ you should just try and move on. They say there are no appeals of appeals (and even if there is the rare exception ^^) it just ain’t gonna happen. Essentially saying it’s now or never is not going to sway anyone. Also, the big reason I say this is for your emotional welfare. You fought the good fight but now it’s time to end the torment and get focused on the campus you SIR’d to. :)

@bolandgoo‌ I’m just curious as to what you said in your email. Like how did you frame it?

I had good reason, my GPA was high enough,I finished all per-requisites etc. ,they never looked at my application completely.
