Next Year's APs

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question, but I'm curious to know what AP classes or exams everyone is taking next year. Post them here.

well i'll go first. For now
school classes
AP Physics C
AP US Gov
AP Comp. Gov
AP Euro H
Self-study
AP stat
AP Comp Sci A or AB depends
AP psych
AP Environmental Science
I'll probably eliminate psych or ES mainly because they don't count as credits in most colleges.

AP's are hard! (sorry for stating the obvious) At my school, one must take the AP course, not just the exam. All of the courses are very very challenging, hence the AP... I've been advised that it's better to get 4's and 5's on a few exams than a bunch of 3's and possibly even a few 2's on a ton of exams. I took AP European History this year (10th grade) and I'm taking both AP Chem and AP U.S. History next year.

only 5 for me for senior year.

Bio
English Lit
Psych
Economics
Government

lol only 5... 6 rite caus macro and micro econ..

tentative plan:

school:
calc bc(took ab this year ... i kno underachiever rite)
psych
gov
english lang.

self study:
macroecon
microecon
environ.(is there another easy oen out there. i was also thinking about taking physics b since i already took a non-AP physics class which was geared for the easier b exam(our AP si geared for C exam))

Honestly, how does anyone keep their sanity with 5+ AP courses???? I know people who had 5 that were close to bonkers. I myself had 4 this past year and I swear that I would be in some mental hospital now, if it weren't for a lot (and I mean A LOT) of Starbucks!

AP Lit
AP Spanish
AP Environ
AP Calc AB
AP Macro Eco
+ Syracuse University Project Advance Sociology
and CW Post University Accounting course

and I'll be honset, I'm looking forward to a really fun and relaxed senior year, no joke :)

AP Lit
AP Euro
AP Stats
AP US Gov/Microeconomics
AP World (Independent Study)

Should be okay...

English Literature
Physics C
Statistics
U.S. Government

And then possibly - it would depend also on if I had a spot for it in my schedule - Environmental Science or Spanish Language...

AP US Government
AP Physics (Hopefully)
AP English Literature

and a UCSD calculus course. (so maybe Calc BC self study)

If I'm feeling ambitious, maybe music theory, but that's a stretch for self study.

This is all that they'll allow me to take; I hate having a school that standardizes your cirriculum. The only choice you have is for your elective (which there are only about 6 and none of them are good except art history which I've taken).

AP courses at my school are a piece of cake. As long as you do your hw, you should be fine. The only problem is we usually get screwed over during the ap test.

AP Physics B
AP Government
AP Lit
AP Environmental
AP Psych

what a fun year my senior years going to be...
AP Lit
AP Calc BC
AP US Gov
AP Macro/AP Micro
AP Bio
AP Stat

I have 5:
AP World History
AP Lit
AP Physics C
AP Calc BC
AP Bio

AP Comp. Gov-self study (already took american gov.)
AP Western Civ
AP Art History
AP English Lit
AP Geography-self study
*would have also had AP Stat and AP western civ. But I had schedule conflicts.

english lit
psych
calc ab
gov
chemistry
physics c

and then self study physics b cuz its a joke and maybe both economics...cuz i will be taking honors bc my school does not have ap so its just a little bit of studying on my own...

so if u do all that a total of 10 tests...im gonna b broke...

AP Physics C
AP Calculus BC
AP Statistics
AP US History

The difficulty of AP classes varies. At many schools, they are very easy and nothing like actual college classes. I go to a very competitive school (usually 5-10 people accepted to harvard per year) and nobody has ever taken 10 APs by the end of high school (even though on CC this seems to be the average).

Is there such thing called AP western civ? I've never heard of it

theres ap european history

My AP schedule is:

AP Calculus BC
AP Euro History
AP Biology
AP Statistics
AP Spanish Language
AP English Literature
AP Psychology
AP Physics C: Electricity and mag
AP Physics C: Mechanics

We always called it western civ at my school. But it's really just european history, only with a different name.
