i know picking your classes for next year has started and wanted to know what classes you picked
make sure to mention your grade

im a sophomore and next year im taking
AP US History
Online AP Lang
AP Stats
Spanish 4 H
Summer Precalc so AP Calc next year
AP Physics 1
AP Chem
Lab/ Gym

I’m going to be a college freshman, so I probably won’t actually get any of the classes I want, but I’d like to take a German class, an intro computer science class, and three math classes. And I’ll have to take a required seminar.

Congrats, although I wonder how you were able to get into such classes as a sophomore (like AP Physics/Chem and Spanish 4), but your school must just be different from mine. I’m becoming a junior and there are only 1-2 available AP classes, which sucks. I was considering taking an online class though.
Here’s my schedule:
English Honors
Spanish IV Honors/EE (offers college credit at my state college that may apply to other schools)
Advanced Art II Honors
Pre-Calculus Honors
US History AP
Either Bio Honors or AP Chemistry

My school doesn’t usually offer AP Chem, but the University of Washington is holding a study and people who want to be a part of it have a chance of taking either AP Chem or Bio (since I haven’t taken Bio I yet, I only have a chance for AP Chem). But the catch is that there are a lot of students and not enough room, so I may not get in. And unfortunately, it’s a little difficult to take AP Chem online since it involves lab. I’ll figure it out though once the results come in and I meet with my guidance counselor.

@CallmeC im a sophomore right now and next year ill be a junior im taking honors chem so im taking AP Chem next year and the college board changed ap physics so theres now its 1 and 2 u can take ap physics 1 without background in physics. my school switched that class and now theres no honors physics hope you get into ap chem

I’m a sophomore this year. I go to a small school so we haven’t even started to do class scheduling yet. Here is what I am planning to take next year though.

Art I (grad req)
Honors Religion 3 (equivalent to an AP class. Some religious colleges accept our classes as credits)
Honors Physics
AP English 11
AP Government
AP Calculus AB/BC (gonna see if I can get the school to offer BC, or I might have to self study the extra stuff)
AP Chemistry

I’m probably a little late but oh well! I’m going to be a freshman next year on block schedule and this is what my schedule will be:
AP Human Geography (Is this a waste of time?)
Honors Physics
Honors 9th Lit
Accelerated Analytic Geometry B/ Advanced Algebra (The other half of Geometry, then Algebra 2)
Band for both semesters (Required if in band)
And some more in which I don’t know but I did circle on my form Spanish, Intro. to Business, some kind of energy class. and some other ones I can’t remember!
I’m really excited :)

@readbooks1 Nice. I’m going to be a sophomore next year and my schedule isn’t as nearly impressive. How did your school let you take AP chem and physics? What’s you schedule this year?

I’m also self-studying AP Environmental Science, so by now I’m just worried that I won’t be getting enough sleep (I’m not the best at time management hahaha). Any input would be awesome I’m still deciding between Orchestra Honors and the AP Theory
