next year's courses

Any of you guys started looking into your schedules for next year yet? I'm really bad and usually do things at the last minute but I figure this is pretty important so should probably get a start on it :)

I bet all the BMEs already know their schedules lol
Chem I + LAB
Physics I + LAB
Calc I
BME Related Class
Engineering Elective or Humanitives Elective

yey.

lol probably not cuz most bme's will probably opt out of taking those level one courses with ap credit

Will we find out our AP scores before we have to select classes for next year?

wait, i didnt recieve anything about course selection yet - you did? we should get our scores by early july so probably yes

Not me! The only class I get credit for is AP Bio (8 credits)

uh.... orgo I, phys I + lab, calc II, models for life, and an elective

Quite a bit of AP Credit for me.. Next year:

OChem + lab; Physics lab (no class); Calc III or DiffEq (I was looking at the schedule and I don't think I can fit in Calc III); BME Design Team; Humanities class

tanman: i emailed the undergrad advisor about physics credit and they said that the lab requirement is waived if u have the ap credit. i read on their guide though that you still have to take the lab. have u tried contacting the advisor?

Three 5s on aps and not one of them counts at jhu.. oh well :(

by the way, does anyone know if we can take the language proficiency test online? I'd like to see what level I test at, so I know if I should take language summer school, etc. this summer.

I haven't talked to an advisor, but I read through the Guide for First Year Students for the Class of 2008 (last years) and it said that the Physics Lab requirement is not waived. They'll be putting out a new guide for us soon, so we'll see what that says.

do you know if the premed requirements allow you to place out of intro bio/lab and take a higher level bio course instead?

i have no idea what I am doing. I have no AP science classes...so...yeah. I'll be dealing with those for a while. I don't know if I want to take any advanced math since I don't want to kill myself my freshman year. Maybe I'll retake Calc I or II again? Depends on the AP test.
Btw Shwack, I used to live in the Bay Area too! Concord, but I just moved to Sacramento. boo. I go to Concord every weekend though! We should meet up, that'd be nice. ^_^

"uh.... orgo I, phys I + lab, calc II, models for life, and an elective"

um may i ask how you found out about scheduling the choice of classes to take

online, office of the registrar, there is the course schedule for fall semester
