^ Huh? I thought you were just including a friendly conversation-starter. As in, after the National Forensics League season, who do you think will win the Vince Lombardi trophy? Now, it’s perfectly fine to have a few tangents in a discussion, but the posters in this thread have taken it too far! Let’s get back on topic, people. What style of debate are you all competing in?

The simple debate style. Keep fighting until A.) they accept I’m right or B.) I’m proven wrong.

^ So what happens with option B? You simply concede the debate, tell the judge you’ve lost, and exit the room?

@#34;
No mention of Green Bay?

I agree that the AFC looks pathetic. I’ve always thought they did, comparitively speaking against the NFC.

Good game next sunday, 49ers v. Packers at 4 pm on FOX.

Made a whole thing with a paragraph for every game but since I was stupid when i had finished…well I was logged out and lost everything. So I’m going to summarize this post.

Superbowl: Indianapolis over Washington (JK but a RG3, Luck game would be fun to watch)

Playoff Teams:
AFC
- New England
- Houston
- Baltimore
- Broncos
WC1. Pittsburgh
WC2. New York (J)
NFC - Green Bay
- Atlanta
- San Francisco
- Philadelphia
WC1. New Orleans
WC2. Chicago

AFC Championship: Houston over New England
NFC Championship: San Francisco over Green Bay

Superbowl: Houston over San Francisco

Reason: Houston’s offensive WHEN HEALTHY is the best it gets. They might not put up as many points as New England or Green Bay but they control the clock. They limit the other teams possessions and put up points on the board (21% of drives last year ended in a TD which is up on the board). Also if you throw on the defense’s allowed TDs per drive (14%) then you get a Net of 7%. The Foster/Tate (153 Yrds/G) game will pound teams and open up PA for Schaub and Johnson (the best route runner in the game). Even though they lost Winston from the OL they still will have a solid line. Their defense took a hit with Williams and Ryans leaving but they found reasonable replacements. Cushing will take Ryans job and Reed will take Cushing’s (Reed looks really good). They stole Mercilus in the draft to replace Williams (even though last year he didn’t play because of injury, the Texan’s DL managed the most blocked passes in the league and created good pressure on other teams). Wade Phillips is back and so is Joseph. With these 2 additions last year they took a 2010 defense with the worst pass defense to 3rd best in the league last year. They also managed a 4th best in rush defense. If the Texans stay healthy in the playoffs then no one can stop them. Finally after 10 years they will have their chance. As good as San Francisco is, the Smith/Davis doesn’t beat Schuab/Johnson and Foster is better than Gore. For 2 similar defenses it is going to come down to big play ability and Houston wins it 17-9.

*Yes that was the shortened version

Houston has no chance at the superbowl…
DALLAS > Houston

lol good joke…got lucky the Gmen played like ****

AFC:
1)New England
2)Houston
3)Baltimore
4)Kansas City
WC1)Pittsburgh
WC2)Denver

NFC:
1)Packers
2)Falcons
3)Giants
4)49ers
WC1)Lions
WC2)Saints

Spygate vs Bountygate SuperBowl

DAAA BEARS!!!
In other news, my Packer tickets are selling way better this year than they did last year after they won the Super Bowl. Odd.

-------------------------------------------If it is to be, it is up to me…

49ers vs. GB would be an interesting game indeed. Gosh darned non-local blackout. Might be able to catch it because it’s @ GB.

Go Cowboys! Nicely done Wednesday night but that game was a snoozefest.

@Elleya yea its nothing against them theyre unstoppable on offense, but ive always agreed with the saying “Defense Wins Championships” thats the ONLY, reason the Giants one last year imo lol, idk if the Pack has gotten better on D but if so then theyre a good bet to go all the way

RG3 ON FIRE TODAY, 320 yards passing and a great win over the Saints!

Luck, Weeden, Tannehill, and Wilson didn’t have the most memorable debuts, but they all have a lot to learn

Tampa Bay beats Carolina, didn’t see that one coming especially since they have Cam Newton and Steve Smith (never gets old)

That feel of having the Bills’ D this week.

At least I had Julio Jones…

I knew RG3 was gonna do pretty good this year, but **** i didnt expect that…And @TexasRanger you haaaave to be under the influence of some substance, our defense would DEVOUR Romo, J.J Watt and Brian Cushing would do the same exact thing they did to Tannehill today, stop living in the past, lol.

What an interesting day.

Watching the Saints game was painful…for them at least.

I just about died laughing at Gronk’s fail spike though, good day to be a NE fan.

Or a Jets fan.

Watching Steelers-Broncos right now, not a terribly memorable game but it’s 7-3 Broncos.

Cowboys all the way!

Indeed! Anyone who beats the Giants is a friend of mine.

Unless they’re a Jet or a Raven.

How bout them Jets? Hopefully the 48 points today was no fluke.

We’ll see next week when they play a competent defense. I think they play Pittsburgh.
