Alright, so I made my high school's chapter of the national honor society. I was wondering if this will give me an advantage in being admitted into the three schools I want to go to most: Miami University of Ohio, College of Wooster, or Kenyon College. If so, how much of an impact will it have on everything in the application process.

IMO, the impact is pretty minor. Thousands of kids make NHS and put that on their application. It’s an honor, sure, but not something that will make an unqualified applicant qualified.

Not very important at all. It’s better than not being in NHS, but it’s so common that it just doesn’t mean much. There’s such a varying degree of NHS rigor too that colleges can’t make assumptions about how serious/competitive yours is.
