NHS leadership position: Is It Worth It?

So I got into NHS, and there are going to be elections for leadership positions.
I'm applying to HYPSM, and I already have 3-4 leadership positions (president of 2 clubs, captain of 2 sports). Should I bother running for NHS President? There are 2 other people running. Is it worth it??

My friends are the leaders and they find it an enormous waste of time.

Chances are you won’t do much; your other leadership positions are and will be seen as more valuable.

i would help you, but i dont like you.

Nah, they asked me to run for president and I said no. It’s a waste.

It’s definitely not a waste, but it doesn’t look like you need more stuff. Sure you can put it on your resume, but it will be pointless if you don’t do anything with it. Let someone who’s passionate about service take the job. Focus your energies on the things you’ve already got going.
