<p>Is being a member of National/Spanish/Music National Honor Societies considered to be a national award, or does it go under the school category? I always thought it was a school thing but some people have been telling me otherwise.</p>
<p>well, it’s not really an award (atleast not at my school)…more of a club/extra-curricular/community service thing</p>
<p>I think it is a school award, as different schools have somewhat different criteria.</p>
<p>Anyway, it was listed as a school award on the resume and the gc did not correct it when she checked over the resume. (She did say that a University of Rochester Xerox … Award should be changed from school to national.)</p>
