I am the head of the service committee at my school's nhs, but I think I do a lousy job. Should I quit? I want to stay but if colleges don't really put much consideration on this, then I will quit my position. So does having a position in National Honor Society affect your admissions at all??

You’ll see questions about NHS in multiple threads here if you search. Basically, NHS intensity varies greatly from school to school. Inherently it gives little if any nudge (kinda like being on the Honor Roll).

Quit if you find something more worthwhile. You could also step aside while finding a replacement who would enjoy it more as well
