Corvette for me.

Mercedez Benz C280 and its only $33,400. Lexus is pretty good car too(luxury & not that expennsive)

a corvette without all of the options isn't too terrible....

true but corvette is sports car, but drving in a benz shows you have class. And i have no interest what so ever working or modifying a car. that's not my thing. I just want to drive a benz after i become an engineer.

eh, i'd much rather have a corvette. well...i'd rather have something else, but...i don't think i'll be able to afford the ol' mclaren any time...ever.

lol. idont think i'll ever be able to afford mclaren ever either. i think only people who earn in millions can afford mclaren. any one earning 60-70 thousand can easily afford a benz though.

I'm not a huge Vette fan but if I could get my hands on a Z06 and a few hours with some extra parts...I'd be a happy engineer.

C6 ZO6 > Pretty much everything else

Heh.

whats a c6 Z06?

It's a Corvette. Look it up http://www.edmunds.com/new/2007/chevrolet/corvette/index.html?mktcat=makemodel-chevrolet&kw=z06&mktid=ga10010698

Engineers are not rich and they love cars, but that Vette is a bit over the top. My frield, who is an engineer, owned a vette after vette, but he had to live in a small apartment. lol. He's in middle age now. Drives a family van.
I've had Mustang GT conv, Nissan Z, Infiniti J. But now a nice safe 4x4.

engineers don't drive cheap cars like mercedes and bmw :D
they make their own

j/k :D

i dont know but i dont seem to have any interest in making or designing a car. I would rather drive in Bmw or mercedez benz.

all I want is a toyota camry

Lexus will work too, toyota is too middle class.

designing cars would be really awesome. I guess first I need to figure out how to change my oil....
;) jk

amen to that

Thank goodness I live in the city i live in--- you can have your nice car AND a decent sized home.

Auscguy: 100% Agreed.

It might be a little bit middle class, and might not be as fast as your "upper class cars", but anything by Toyota or (my preference) Honda is going to inevitably hold up better than some foreign car that you have to go to a special shop to get worked on.

Just because you live comfortably doesn't mean you should be cavalier with your money. That 2008 Honda Accord is looking like the kind of car I'd want to drive all my life.

i had a toyota and a honda before, they are pretty good! plus you can change anything u want and add on lips, mufflers, intakes anything you want...

those luxury cars ... not quite as easy

and when u get in an accident, a honda / toyota part is easy to find on ebay. you will pay a huge debt with those luxury cars + insurance. They are more for older people who settled with a family.
