Nice mention in Business Week

Extracurriculars That Count

"Admissions officials from some of the nation's top undergraduate programs—such as Penn, Emory, Washington University and Virginia—agree that students targeting clubs they consider prestigious are largely wasting their time. "

I know it is just one article, and the list is probably influenced by which admissions officers returned the reporter's calls. Even so, a pretty presitigous list, and a clear repudiation that Wash U is only known for Life Sciences or Social Work.

Haha...I looked at the slide show and am now pondering applying for the MBA program. It was the male/female ratio of 2.8 to 1 that did it for me!

THe article included Emory and even a quote from someone from the BBA program. However, Emory students don't apply to the undergrad business program from high school. They are accepted into Emory and then apply to Goizeta at the end of their sophomore year. The article had misinformation.
