i really want to go to a school with nice, down to earth students. any schools come to mind?

St. Mary's College - Maryland

hey guys where are all the nice students again

wait let me go check the list

You're going to find both down-to-earth and pompous students at every school. Sure, some schools may have more wealthy and elitist students, but in general, they're giong to be everywhere.

Based on my visit to Rice University the people there were super friendly and nice.

The kids I met at Princeton were really nice and helpful, too. They joked around a lot and were always there to help me when I was lost - whether it was at 8 am in the morning or 2 am.

Sorry to be a party-pooper, but Princeton is one of the last places I would associate with the term "down to earth."

I think a lot of kids at Midwestern LAC's are generally nice, chill, and unpretentious. Grinnell, Macalester, and Oberlin come to mind.

I don't think the nice generally connotes down-to-earth. I'm just basing it on my experience there for two days. Whenever I was lost, someone would help me, sometimes walking me to the place myself. I just sat down and ate lunch with random strangers and I didn't meet anyone that wasn't willing to spare a few minutes to answer any questions I had.

I don't know anything about the others - but I concur with Oberlin on that, too.

Also, St. John's

brown!! the happy school??

Haverford, Carleton, Kenyon, Colby, and Macalester.

if you're looking for a shcool that is easier to get into check out the University of Vermont. It is a super chill place. The school and Burlington are pretty sweet.

Wash U and Rice have the nicest students that I've found.
