Nicest Hotel in Area

I am reasonably familiar with the area and stayed in the Parker Inn the last time I visited with my son. My next visit will be for his official interview and I would really like to stay in a nice hotel. What is the best in the area? On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the Parker in a 7. Is the hotel/Inn in the Stockade really nice? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not fancy but they just opened a Hampton Inn very close to the school.

Thanks. That's right next to the Parker Inn. I am looking for something fancy.

Glen Sanders Mansion, but it's a little far away.
There is also the Stockade Inn

Thanks so much. As between the two, which is nicer. Also, how do they compare to the Parker Inn?

Glen Sanders is about 6 or 7 minutes from campus. I have had Sunday brunch there, but I have not stayed there. The place looks nice and upscale, but I really cannot comment on the rooms. I have been in the Stockade Inn, but only on the public floor where the restaurant is. It looks very nice, like a colonial inn or something along those lines. The Hampton Inn downtown actually looks very nice. I can tell you that the Hampton Inn out on Rte. 7 on British-American Drive is very new, modern and nice, but it is a Hampton Inn, not an elegant hotel.

I think that Stockade Inn and Glen Sanders are supposed to be nicer than the Parker Inn. I've never stayed in them though because I'm local.

Once again - thank you for the replies.
