On TurboNick on Nick.com there's a small video of Jamie Lynne Spears giving make up tips to young girls about how to look thinner
This wouldn't be that big of a deal, but if you take in the fan age of Nickelodeon and Jamie Lynne Spears, this clip is targeting girls from as young as 8-12 maybe younger, and telling them they need make up, and not only that they need to look thinner.

What's the link?

Since when has Nickelodeon been a benevolent non-profit organization interested in the well being of our society? It's a corporation, for Christ's sake.

Psh, Nick dot com is the shiz. They have old episodes of Pete and Pete online

They have old episodes of Pete and Pete ...wow, I've got to get on that. Do they have the Secret World of Alex Mack?

7dust, I love ATHF! Adult Swim shows The Boondocks, which I love...

btw, I miss old school Nick shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Salute Your Shorts...

Yeah....old school Nick used to be REALLY good. Up until a little after Alan Strange, OMG and then there was All That and Keenan and Kel....I miss the Nickelodeon that I used to know.

Yep, it's Nick Rewind on that site Prepstad posted. They used to have Alex Mack, I watched a few of the episodes, they also used to have Salute your Shorts, but they cycle the shows weekly so they change a lot

I used to LOVE Keenan and Kel, Especially Kel, when I was younger I had the biggest crush on him. Does anyone remember Clarissa Explains it all and the Round House? They also had that on Nick Rewind for awhile to

Oh I remember that show! It was pretty stupid. Like that show Taina, the only person I liked on it was Maritza.
And Cousin Skeeter.

Wow, memories are flooding back. Snick.

I remember Clarissa Explains it All...but not Round House , I have no clue what that is lol.

Yeah, I used to love Kel too, and when Good Burger came out, I was psyched!

The Round House is REALLY old, it was sorta like Kids Inc on Disney, I barely remember it.

My friends and I were dorks in elementary school. We all loved watching SNICK on Nickelodeon, so we made up a club. And we called ourselves the SNICKERS Club...we had I.D.s and everything ...sigh to be back in elementary school again.

Haha, Snickers club? That's cute!
I remember in Recess, we used to play the Power Rangers, and I would scream at any girl who wouldn't let me be the Pink Ranger until she gave up. My "third grade boyfriend" was the green ranger - of course.

Here's an episode of Salute Your Shorts, that I found, if anyone wants some nostalgia: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7616651890439276760&q=salute+your+shorts
