I applied to the NIDDK Step Up program without really understanding much about it, and just found out I’ve been accepted. However, I still can’t seem to find much information about the program… For example, they say their coordination centers will help you find a mentor/project. How do I know what might be available? How do I know if a project will be available in my area of interest? They ask for acceptance of the offer by Monday (less than 1 week after notification of acceptance). If I accept, I have no idea of what I’m accepting! 
I’ve also applied to several other summer programs.
Can anyone shed some light on how this program works?
