Night life at Loyola Maryland

I vistited Loyola and fell in love with it. The only things I wish it had were greek life and social work as a major. However I heard it is a bar school and that the nightlife there sucks. Is this true??

Baltimore isn’t Manhattan, but it’s not rural Indiana, either. Loyola’s campus is in a mainly residential area on the north side of town. You can’t just step off the campus into something like Greenwich Village or Harvard Square. However, you don’t have to venture too far to find museums, the Inner Harbor, shopping, or nightlife. The Johns Hopkins main campus is nearby, too.

This is how the Towson U students I know get around town: [Baltimore Collegetown - Shuttle - BUSES](http://www.baltimorecollegetown.org/shuttle/shuttle-stops/) They all think that Baltimore is a great place to be a student. The bigger issue with Loyola would be that the major you want isn’t offered. You should re-think it for that reason alone.
