<p>where are the best bars around campus? where do most students go to drink and or eat when they go out?</p>
<p>There are no campus bars, sadly.</p>
<p>Most students go party on Thursday nights and drink at friend’s apartments or other apartment parties. Others do it at frat houses on the row.</p>
<p>As for eating, people go all over the place. Westwood has some good restaurants like CPK, In N Out, Fat Sals, Yogurt places, Tommy Tacos, Noodle Planet, Diddy Riese.</p>
<p>Some people drive around places in LA, like Koreatown or Little Tokyo and get Korean BBQ or Japanese Ramen or Boba Milk Tea. Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffle is also pretty popular and about a 15-20 minute drive from campus.</p>
<p>Westwood brewing co. is the popular spot to drink around campus. From Ackerman it’s like a 15 min walk. Also, Palomino is supposed to be the spot as well, but it’s near the beginning of westwood (by peets coffee kind of)</p>
<p>As far as Roscoes goes, it’s the better combination of the two (chicken and waffles) but there are better places for the former (Honey’s Kettle) as well as better places for the latter (Waffle Chix which is in westwood)</p>
<p>I second Diddy Riese. If you can get your hands on a car, be sure to stop by Scoops Westside. Scoops is easily the best ice cream place in LA (new crazy flavors every day like apple pie or thai iced tea), and they recently opened their second location on the west side and it’s just as awesome as the first, and also includes Intellegentsia coffee.</p>
<p>If you’re looking for places to drink, Brewco, barney’s beanery, and margarita mondays are the places to go. </p>
<p>However frat parties, you’ll find mostly 1st years or 2nds years.</p>
