I really hope everything works out. I’d suggest Santa Monica College too, we have a few half semester classes that start soon and some are online. You would absolutely have to email the professors and ask to “crash” and then be entered in a lottery.

yes!!! de anza! there are online classes still open! [De Anza College :: Schedule of Classes :: Online Searchable Schedule](http://deanza.edu/schedule/classes/?qttr=S)
tell us what you do :D

also, i would recommend doing ics8 with brown. nice lady, easy grader.
…if its open lol

Yup, try to find some kinda 1 unit research/co-op/PE/online class that could possibly bring the count up. UC’s are stringent about the 60 units no matter how close you are, so at this point, you could just wait a year, or try to find something quick! and meet the unit count.

Good luck! please update how this turns out. :)

remember that you won’t die, i stayed a year longer than planned and all my body organs are still working. :)

good luck!

Check to see if you can get into any late start classes (they may have already started - but you might get a sympathy late add from an instructor). Then go to your UC application and update your course listing to reflect the added course. According to the lady I spoke to at UCD, they will honor any changes to your academic update through 03/31. Keep in mind that 03/31 is the last day (today) for which you may make such changes. After today you must contact campuses individually to make any changes (and at this point, it may be too late - it is certainly so for schools that appear to take earlier action for transfer students including UCSD/UCSB).

Good luck!

Remember to notify the UCs if you do enroll in another class.

Good luck! You def made me double check my classes. Based on the new slashes in budget and classes etc, you def don’t want to stay another year.

Do the UCs count AP units?

yep they do.

Oh thank God. I too, due to personal circumstances, had to drop a class and was one class short (of transferable units) of the required 90. I got into UCSB, so I guess it means they do count them. Thanks for the peace of mind!

I hope you can get your issue resolved. Try getting a class at De Anza college online, or Foothill college. Both are in the same district and have a ton of online classes which start next week!

I’ll be enrolled in a cultural anthro class at Lake Tahoe CC by the end of tonight. Its UC transferable, I also updated my UC app. Thanks for the help guys, you’re lifesavers.

That’s good to know! I feel happy for you~

Hey, just because it’s late in the game, you should probably call each UC and let them know. Because the deadline was March 1 (or something) it says new information may not be reviewed after that if you just update the application. And you could appeal to Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz with your “new and compelling” information, if either of those were your number one choice.

woooo good job. i also deffs think you should appeal to sc and sb if you think its worth your while.

Just got into UCR. Goes to show that they do indeed give a little wiggle room.

Yey! Maybe it isn’t a first choice, but you now know you have somewhere to go.

Just got into my dream school UCD. 50,000 Thank yous to each and every one of you that helped me with this… THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!

YAY! Congrats!! Best of luck to you.
