Ninety-Five.

Whats a 95 on 4.0 scale.. 3.8?

It depends. You can use ratios to equate that OR you can go through your transcript, assigning 4.0 for A's, 3.0 for B's, etc.

A 95 on a 4.0 scale is a 4.0

If all your grades were 90+ (A), then it's a 4.0.

at my school, you had to have 96 or higher to get 4.0

If anyone's interested, here's how it is at my school:

93% + --> A --> 4.0

90-92.99% --> A- --> 3.7

87-89.99% --> B+ --> 3.3

83-86.99% --> B --> 3.0

80-82.99% --> B- --> 2.7

77-79.99% --> C+ --> 2.3

73-76.99% --> C --> 2.0

70-72.99% --> C- --> 1.7

67-69.99% --> D+ --> 1.3

60-66.99% --> D --> 1.0

0-59.99% --> F --> 0.0

my school has an extremely odd 9point scale, so my GC told me if i wanted to recalculate:
an A= 4pt
a B= 3pt
C= 2pt
and then subtract or add .3 for each plus or minus (so a B+ is 3.3, A- is 3.7...)

But if out of 4.33 UW you get a 4.0 it's not as good as 4.0 out of 4.0

It depends on the college and/or your school district. It would definitely be 3.75-4.00 though.
