NJ: Does Montclair State or Ramapo College of NJ have a stronger communications department?

I was accepted to both of these schools as a transfer student for the fall, and was wondering about opinions for each of them. Montclair appears to be more widely known with a larger population, but Ramapo’s reputation may be a bit higher.

MSU is slightly closer to me, which is important as a commuter student, although I hear parking is a pain.

Thanks a lot for your help!

I’ve never heard a bad thing about Ramapo. It’s more of a public liberal arts college due to its size. If you’re commuting, I think i’d recommend Montclair if it’s closer. Both are good locations to get internships in NYC.
