I'm gonna try to get into SSP, but also NJ Gov. School for Sciences.

What's the better program in terms of both substance and prestige?

What's the better program in terms of both substance and prestige?

NJ gov school is dead. Corzine killed it.

The last that I heard the fate of next year's program is uncertain. Possible decisions including cutting the program shorter, making the scholars pay, soliciting donations from alumni, and cancelling it, but nobody's certain.

I would say Governor's School just because I'm an alumni and loved it. And you have to wonder why one alum offered to donate thousands of dollars (was it like $20k?) just for GSS.

Im pretty sure gov school will live on. There are a lot of private donators aond contributors. Gov school was alive this year because of that.

I hope governer's school keeps going . . .

But can someone answer the original question?

Go Gov School; seriously it's pretty prestigious. I know, because I got my butt rejected by school of engineering LOL.

governer's school is better. SSP is much easier to get into I think.
