NJ Governor's School

Anyone interested in working on fundraising email me at Imnuts55@aol.com or IM me if I'm online

Hey all. I also was accepted into the school of Public Issues. I'm so excited!

omg, i applied to the school of Public Issues but I havent heard anything yet...:-(

I think they send out a letter regardless if you are accepted, so don't worry if you didn't get one yet!

Yea they definately send out letters either way

but you may need to fear that acceptances go out first....

true...but i know for county the acceptances came out a little staggared

it also seems that public issues is the only ones who got yet...I'm so happy thats me lol

Hey Guys,
I also applied to Public Issues and I still haven't heard yet :( !

So anyway, I was just wondering if the letter came directly from the school or if it came from your respective counties? Because on Wednesday, my mom put a call into the county superintendent's office and his secretary said they were putting the letters together for Gov School. So I'm a little confused. BTW, are all of you from North Jersey? Because I'm from South Jersey... Do you think that'd make a difference? Congrats to all of you who got it, hopefully I'll get to meet some of you this summer. ;-)

well if we're all from north jersey so far that probably good for u bc i think they try to spread it out, I'm going to go check if my came from the county. If you havn't gotten it yet...good luck!

lol...i seem to have lost my letter already

Yeah, I'm from Livingston in Essex County. The best part of the acceptance letter was the lettrhead:

Governor's School of Public Issues
State of New Jersey
The Honorable Jon Corzine, Governor

Thanks for the reassurance... i'm still keeping my fingers crossed. lol thats pretty funny you can't find your letter, thanks for checking anyway. I'll let you know either way...

we really should all get together and work on some sort of fundraising project bc i think if it gets cancled bc of lack of funds now I'd be completely heartbroken

I'd be willing to help either way...It is a really good program that should continue to run for many years to come. If you wanna talk, im me at BrownEyedGrl4707 (AOL).

this thing is so frustrating. SO FRUSTRATING.

I heartily agree...lol

I applied to GSPI, as well. :( No letter.

From Bergen County, btw.

What about Int'l Studies? has anyone heard anything?

all the internation studies ppl i know havn't heard yet
