NJ Governor's School?

I’m applying for the NJ Governor’s School summer science program at Drew and was wondering how selective it is? We nominate 2 people for science and 2 people for engineering from my school and then I guess you get selected from there, but I have no idea what the other applicants are like. I’ve heard it’s “competitive” but how competitive?

My PSAT10 was 1230, my May 2016 SAT was 1350, and the PSAT I took as a junior this October was a 1470, with a 750 Math score.
I have all A’s in school with the exception of 2 B’s I will probably end up with in APUSH and AP Lang this marking period (so not a final grade). I’m taking AP Biology this year and I want to major in biomedical engineering, and my grades so far have been a 98 and a 95.
My cumulative GPA is about a 4.3 (calculated for freshman and sophomore year) and I’m 7th in my class out of ~350.
I have quite a few volunteer hours, a couple of clubs I’m very dedicated to, a sport and NHS, NAHS, SNHS and World Language HS.

I think I’m at a decent standing, but I’m not sure what my guidance counselor actually sends on the application, or how competitive the program is.

its very competitive - about 20% selection rate from the nominees and the nominees are the top students from each NJ school.
