NJ Resident Chances at Rutgers

I am a pre med student that will be applying to Rutgers next year. Thank you for your time and please leave honest feedback. Rutgers is my top choice.

NJ Resident
Very good public school

UW GPA: 3.7 (possibly higher depending on next year)
SAT: 1890
ACT: 26

I will have taken 14 honors classes and 2 AP classes before graduating. No AP scores yet but they will probably be good.

EC's:
- Cross Country 3 years (missed 1 year b/c of injury)
- Member of emergency services club
- About 80 hours volunteering through club
- 100 hours volunteering at camp for disabled children
- Certified EMT
- Have spent over 500 hours on call as active EMT
- About 250 hours volunteering at hospital (estimate)

I also have a LOR from the hospital CEO (where I volunteer) as well as the County prosecutor. Good teacher rec's too.

Thank you for reading and please let me know if anything has been left out.

I’m guessing you are applying to the NB campus? I think you have a pretty good shot! I’m applying as well as an in-state student with the same GPA but higher scores. Great ECs btw… I think in-staters with moderately competitive will always have a shoe in.

Rutgers SAS/SEBS/MG: Safety
Rutgers business/engineering/nursing: Low match
