Who went to the Info Session held on OCT. 9 at McCosh Hall? Sarah Langston conducted it and I was wondering if we can get a list of ppl/ interests and/or stats. EDers prefarably but all are welcome…

I went to the session on October 22, with Terri Riendeau. I wonder if any of you guys were there (I was the only kid in a suit and tie, six feet tall).

Oh yeah, and there was this really cute softball player in line in front of me, hopefully she gets in ED too!

I sent in a CD and set up meetings with the director of undergraduate music programs (administrative person) AND the head piano guy (actual musician and teacher). It wasn't easy getting the meetings, because they don't normally do that stuff, but I was fairly persistent. In the end, the head piano guy said he would send a "very positive evaluation" to the admissions committee!

Why don't you go ahead and set up an audition? It shows that you have initiative (always a plus) and you really have nothing to lose. If they don't like you, the music department will simply not recommend you; they won't send a "bad" eval.

Back to topic. Did anyone else go to the info session on Oct. 22?

I went to the Oct 9 info session at McCosh Hall too.

Bill, i saw your earlier post, and its not all that bad. I visited in september and Princeton is no SMU in terms of female attractiveness. If Princeton required a photo for admission and started recruiting girls based on their hotness then it would be the greatest university in the history of the universe. It also depends who you interact with. We hung out at an eating club and most of the girls who hung around the clubs were decent, a few major hotties. I imagine if you hang around the library on a Saturday night you will encounter some of the butch-types, but there always NYC and Philly 45 min away
