I recently had a problem with my finical aid and had to get it transferred from one campus to another, upon the transfer I was no longer receiving my NJ TAG award and was told: "Your state aid has been cancelled because you failed to answer the Applicant Information Request (AIR) from the NJ Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA). We urge you to contact HESAA directly at 1-800-792-8670". What should I do? I do not remember being asked to fill out the AIR, am I still eligible for the grant? Is there a way to get the money back? I am only asking b.c I really need this money to complete the paying of my term bill and for books and supplies.

Call that 800 number and ask them.
