Hello, I am an NJ student looking for cheap options. I can go to NJCU with a full tuition scholarship and most likely Honors College. Does anyone have opinions of Honors at NJCU, or about NJCU in general? I haven’t really heard the best things about the school as a whole but I was wondering if Honors College is different. Thanks.
It’s honestly a terrible school. I don’t know anyone who goes there or has gone there. But looking at the stats, don’t even consider it. Look at options elsewhere. Even if you get into the Honors College for free, don’t waste time by even entertaining the thought. I’d much rather attend my current school for $60,000 per year than be paid $1 billion to go to NJCU.

NJCU isn’t a great school, but it’s no worse than our other state schools. I don’t think New Jersey has any “terrible” four year schools, actually. Community colleges, maybe.
Honors colleges are sometimes better than the college itself. Congrats on getting full tuition!
