NMF and UC Berkeley

<p>I am a NMF and had put USC as my number one choice. However, I was not admitted to USC and have decided to attend UC Berkeley instead. </p>

<p>Will my NMF standing give me any kind of monetary benefit within the UC system? I have not received any notification for the $2500 award so I assume that I won't be getting that.</p>

<p>So is there any kind of NMF benefit for attending a UC school?</p>

<p>None of the UCs give school-sponsored National Merit scholarships, so the only benefit available there would be the NMSC $2500 scholarship or a corporate scholarship.</p>
