NMF SAT score

My S will likely make NMSF based on his PSAT score and the several previous year cut-offs in our state. His score was about 4 points higher than it has been in any of those years. He will be taking the January SAT for NM purposes only (he is taking ACT for college admission purposes). Does anyone know what range of scores he needs to be within on the SAT to ensure that the score won't be an eliminating factor for NMF? Does it just need to be in a reasonable range of his PSAT score (eg. within +/- 100 points)? He has taken 2 practice tests and the scores were both consistent with his PSAT score. Will this be good enough?

He'll be fine.

If his SAT score is above 2000 he shall be OK. It does not matter whether his PSAT score is 240 or 210 or whatever. It needs to be higher than the lowest PSAT qualifying score of that year. Since in recent years the lowest qualifying PSAT scores were around 200. Thus a 2000+ SAT score is usually sufficient.
