<p>DS applied to Bama before the Dec. 1 deadline, but hasn’t been accepted so far. Does that mean he is out of luck for the NMF Scholarship?</p>

<p>your son is FINE. He does NOT have to be accepted by Dec 1.</p>

<p>Also, if your son becomes a NMF, even if he applied next year (before May), he’d still get the NMF scholarship. The Dec 1 deadline doesn’t apply to NMFs.</p>
