<p>What does being a National Merit Scholarship semifinalist who selected Washington Univ. means to their admission process? Do they typical accept most of the semifinalists?</p>
<p>I don't know exactly, but I was one last year, and they let me know early that they had accepted me (I applied RD).</p>
<p>I think that Wash U truly considers National Merit Semifinalist, but they also look at your gpa, SAT or ACT scores, and your extra activities are important too.
If your high school gpa doesn't relate to your PSAT scores -forget it!</p>
