<p>hey i took the PSAT this year and got a 210. i live in FL and i know the cutoff was 211 last year. do you think the cutoff will be lower or higher this year and could i possibly make nmsf?</p>
<p>Sorry to say, but I think it will be higher. 1991 was one of the biggest birth years in recent memory, so the population of people taking the PSATs is higher this year. This will probably raise the percentile needed for NMSF. Thats not to say its an impossibility though, I just don’t think it will happen.</p>

<p>Why would a larger population raise the score required if it’s done by percentages? It all depends on whether or not this year is smarter or not, yes?</p>
<p>uhhh more people means more smart ppl and more dumb ppl…duh…so the size of the the class is almost 100% irrelevant</p>
