<p>So i haven't received any letters from Umass Amherst since i applied which was around Halloween. I am like panicking because a couple students from my school have already received their letters. I really don't know why i haven't received anything yet and when i check my application status, the website doesn't really work. So i was wondering if anyone is in the same shoes as i am?</p>
<p>What do you mean the website doesn’t work? Do you mean it says your application is under review? UMass started sending out letters a few days ago but I heard they aren’t going to update the online until after Christmas at the earliest. If the website says your app is under review, then its working just fine. Thats what mine says and I still haven’t received a decision.</p>
<p>Yeah, it used to say it was under review but for about a week now when i log on there is nothing to see except rectangular boxes on top</p>

<p>I’m worried about my admissions letter too! I just got my first letter and it was a rejection. I don’t think I could handle another rejection in the next week, haha.</p>

After observing the UMass admissions process for the past three years, it appears that the order they send out letters is… completely random.</p>
<p>No one has ever figured out any rhyme or reason to it.</p>
<p>On top of that, it will take them <em>weeks</em> to get everything out.</p>
<p>Last spring there were people still getting letters after the May 1 deadline.</p>
<p>It s*cks that their processes are so inefficient, but that’s the way it is.</p>
<p>Yeah, same here - no letter yet. All my materials were processed November 4th (I sent it in the 30th or so, I think). So far 1/1 - University of Wisconsin-Madison, but I’m hoping for a decision letter from UMass soon

<p>I applied around Halloween too! Since it got reviewed a few days after the EA deadline that I applied for, and my November SAT scores took forever to get in, idk if I’m still considered EA lol. I’m still waiting. I hope I get in! BEST OF LUCK!! xoxox</p>

<p>I got mine about a week ago! But i don’t believe it’s by state and i also heard they will be sending a lot out by this Tuesday since the holidays will be over</p>
