I'm most likely applying to Haverford, unless my ED school works out. They really recommend that if you live within 150 miles, that you interview on campus. The thing is, I've already visited campus and simply do not have a free weekend between now and early January (when they stop offering interviews) when I can drive up. On top of that, I actually can't drive, and my dad is incredibly busy and really doesn't want to make the two hour drive for an interview, seeing as I won't be touring ot going to the info session because I already did those things.
I really don't want this to count against me, but I also really dont' think I can get out for an interview. Do they really not offer alumni interviews? Is the reason they recommend on-campus interviews because they want to make sure you get a feel for the campus, or is it because they want you to prove your devotion and make the drive or something? I've already seen the campus and loved it, and really don't think I'd benefit by losing six or so hours, which I really can't spare at this time of year, to see it again and just affirm that I love the school.
Basically I'm wondering if there's any way to schedule and alumni interview, and whether that'll count against me in the process. Or whether not having an interview at all will count against me. I'd love to interview, but I just don't think I can get to campus.
I'd appreciate any insight on this matter...I'm kind of at a loss. Thanks!

Take a train to campus. If you can do it on a weekday, visit a class while you’re there. Better still, try to make it part of an overnight. It might help you decide whether to apply…and, if you’re really, seriously interested it may help you with the essay.

If instead you’re simply looking for comfort that skipping the interview is okay, I have no idea so I can’t help you with that. But, if it does matter…see paragraph 1, above. I haven’t been driving my kid around whenever he has an interview. He’s been riding the rails. That’s when he works on his essays and gets reading done for school, so traveling is productive time.

Good luck.

Contact admissions since they may be able to direct you to an alumni interviewer in your area.
