<p>I am interested in attending St Andrews, but I am currently a junior so have not quite figured out the ropes. I am an american. I attend a private school that does not offer AP classes... it is more like the only classes they offer are at AP level. Will there be a way to specify this on my app? Also... do you apply for a specific course, I would pick IR/ Spanish or the school in general and then apply?

<p>You apply for a specific course, eg IR. In your first 2 years you will be able to take 2 classes in addition to this, e.g. Spanish. You then choose one to follow through to complete your degree. Some joint degrees are possible, e.g IR and Spanish.</p>
