I submitted my application to yale and williams 1 day before the deadline, but I haven't still received any confirmation or acknowledgement stating they received my application. Is there a problem I should be worried about? Do they take this much time to process my application?
Thank you.

call them and confirm that they rec’d your application. it is really just that easy :)

Agree with naviance…this is a problem that is easily solved and needs to be addressed now. You should have already heard from a Yale alumni interviewer. When you look at your Common App dashboard, what does it show for those two colleges?

It shows that the application is submitted,

" You should have already heard from a Yale alumni interviewer" The absences of an interview contact is NOT a sign that your application has been processed by Yale. Many fully complete applicants will NEVER be contacted by an interviewer due to applications > volunteer interviewers.

Williams sends applicants an email, usually within several days of receiving an application, with login information for a “My Williams Account” that will let you review the status of your application. If you haven’t received this email, then it’s possible that your application was incorrectly submitted or processed. Before contacting Williams admissions, you should go through your email inbox and junk mail folder just to be sure you didn’t miss the email from Williams.
