No AP's sophomore year?

I’m currently a junior trying to go for a top 25 school (possibly ivy league) and I’m taking 3 AP’s this year. I took mostly honors classes sophomore year (4). The only AP’s our school offers for sophomores is AP Bio, AP Comp Sci and AP Music Theory. Will colleges look down upon me for not taking an AP sophomore year? Is it really a big deal?

No. Many schools don’t permit students to take AP classes until junior year, and some limit the number even then. Whether the three that were offered to you as a sophomore were not of interest or didn’t fit in your schedule, don’t worry about it. AP classes are not the only way to demonstrate a rigorous schedule.

Good for you for keeping your eyes open for opportunities, though. Keep doing that and you’ll have more than you will be able to handle!
