No APs

I am a high school Junior and my school offers no APs and no Honor classes. I think that I won't be as competitive as other applicants around the country so I'm taking a college class this fall for business to get 3 college credits. Would this help me at all?

If your school does not offer honors or APs, they cannot really hold it against you that you did not take any. Taking college classes on the side definitely shows initiative, and it definitely cannot hurt your chances! (Unless of course, you fail the course.)

Yeah c: thanks

Don’t worry–the rigor of your schedule is determined based on the level of classes offered at your school. They’ll know that you had no way to take AP/honors and will judge your schedule accordingly.

Okay I feel way better now! I was kinda freaking out about no APs cause BostonU usually talks about APs and Honors…But I Guess I’ll Be Fine. And I have taken the most challenging courses at school.
