"No Articulation Established" - Is this a bad thing?

<p>I am trying to tranfer from Mt. San Antonio College (a community college) to SLO. On the assist.org website, it says no articulation established on most of the classes, meaning there are no comparable courses to what I will be taking at SLO. Is this a bad thing? Does this lessen my chances of getting in since my school doesn’t seem to have any articulation agreements with SLO? I’m majoring in Animal Science, by the way.</p>

<p>Not necessarily, it could be that those classes are so major-specific that you can only take those at the university itself. As long as you do your core courses & maintain a high GPA, you should be fine. Of course it always helps to have as much courses under your belt as you can to be more competitive, so this might mean taking classes at another college or even online, if they offer them.</p>
